Hollywood heart-throb Gerard Butler will say goodbye to South Africa this weekend.
The actor has been filming scenes for the movie Machine Gun Preacher for the past few weeks.
Butler has been shooting parts of the movie, which is based on the life of drug addict turned reverend Sam Childers, in Magaliesberg and Hartbeespoort.
The areas have been made to simulate war-torn Sudan to tell the story of how Childers and his wife rescued and rehabilitated children from that country.
Off set, Butler has been spotted at the club Latinova, the Sandton City Shopping Centre and in Camps Bay.
The film is due to be released next September
