Movie Review – the Gamer (Blog)

Brisbane –

Last week, I found myself wondering at the cinema trying to find a movie to watch. Finally I decided to go for Gamer, the movie which was showing for the 2nd day that afternoon, and not knowing how its review was, I took the risk to buy the ticket and wanted to rate the movie myself.

It was a pleasant surprise for me that Gamer is not bad at all! Gerard Butler, who plays Kable is the cult hero of the ultraviolent “Slayers” – a shooter game created by billionaire Ken Castle who uses real prisoners as avatars who fought for survival for the entertainment of the masses in this shooter game. This movie portraits the highly developed mind control technology of the game, which enable human to control other humans.

With its futuristic setting and its video game inspired background, Gamer reassembled a violent, fast and frenetic action movie where the hero won his victory against the villains and got his freedom and reunited with his family.

If you are a great fan for action movie, this non-stop action movie with lots of gun shooting, explosions, and kicking is definitely your cup of tea!
