Leonidas, Ray Charles in ‘Law Abiding Citizen’ Posters (Blog)

August 9, 2009 | Law Abiding Citizen News

If the logic follows that a movie pushed back several months by its distributor indicates a lack of belief in the finished product, what does that say for a movie like Law Abiding Citizen, that just moved up from the early months of 2010 to October 16th? You can only hope it means everyone’s very excited.
There’s a new set of posters for the film, starring Gerard Butler as a man whose wife and daughter were murdered and goes after the district attorney (Jamie Foxx) that he believes set the killers free. This kind of story goes all the way back to Death Wish (and probably before), but with Foxx and Butler in tow it’s certainly worth exploring. Check out the new posters, courtesy of IMP Awards. At one point, Frank Darabont was set to direct this, but he backed out and was replaced by F. Gary Gray. Nothing against Gray, but at the time that looked like a big setback. But the rush to get the movie in theaters this year may signal that everything worked out great for Law Abiding Citizen.
