Hot on the heels of their successful adaptation of 300, Legendary Pictures is reportedly looking to bring another genre epic to the big-screen: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The rumor mill also suggests that they even have an A-list star in mind to play He-Man. But is any of this true?
According to the British tabloid The Sun — can you see where this is going yet? — Brad Pitt is being eyed to play Prince Adam/He-Man in the long-in-development movie. (Dolph Lundgren played the role in the 1987 live-action Masters of the Universe feature.)
The report adds that Pitt would have to bulk up for the role, a la Troy, but that should he pass then the go-to-leading man would be 300 star Gerard Butler.
