In which category Gerard Butler, the star of Dracula 2000 ultimately ends up is anyone’s guess, but as the titular character in the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, due in December, he is assured a worldwide audience waiting to see if the mask fits him.
