A strong force

March 28, 2007 | 300 Reviews

Imagine 300 warriors with enough skill in battle and the determination to change the Greek world forever. Then add stunning visual graphics and an absorbing storyline. Mix those all together and 300 is what you will get.

In short, 300 gets platinum status. This is must-see cinema material. The movie, which is set in ancient Greece, tells the story of 300 Spartan men, led by their king, Leonidas I (played by Gerard Butler) and their captain Theron (played by Dominic West) who went up against seemingly impossible odds fighting against their Persian foes.
Their bravery and sacrificial personalities along with their passion for justice, prompted all of Greece to rise up against the Persian enemy and bring about the origin of democracy in all of Greece.

No Greek war movie has ever been without action, sex, and of course treachery. This one has all three, as well as killer graphics. Really, this is as good as it gets. The graphics, really people, it SELL OFF!!! Everything is so real, and the digital sound effects in the movie theatre make it feel even more real.

The movie is action-packed from beginning to end. Fighting, love making, blood spraying, arrows being fired from all directions and deadly spear piercings. This is definitely the thriller of the millennium.
The variety of characters also add to the uniqueness of the movie. From zombies to trolls to monsters and even rhinos and elephants, the movie couldn’t go wrong. It simple and sell off. The storyline was surprisingly good and was in sync with all the action from beginning to end.

Even Queen Gorgo – played by Lena Headley – shows her warrior skills, killing the traitor who tries to dethrone Leonidas as he tries to save his country.

All in all ‘di show hard’, and if you have a weak heart then, people, take caution. Blood spray more than how di rain fall. TEENage gives 300 5 out of 5 stars. And if you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it later or you are missing out on an experience of a lifetime. It’s going to grab you from start to finish, guaranteed.
