Oxford fest full of indie premieres

The Oxford International Film Festival will debut April 5-8 with 77 independent films screened over four days, including more than a dozen U.S., Ohio and world premieres. The festival is a first for Southwest Ohio.

Among the highlights: [b]the U.S. premiere of “Wrath of Gods” featuring Gerard Butler (“300”) with director Jon Gustafsson attending;[/b] the Ohio premiere of award-winning “Mojave Phone Booth” starring Annabeth Gish and Steve Guttenberg; and the Ohio premiere of “Intellectual Property.”

Panel discussions with filmmakers and workshops including How to Make an Anti-Hollywood Movie (For Under 40 Grand) and Cinematography Film vs. Digital are scheduled throughout the festival.
