Sandro’s Movie Crackers

December 27, 2005 | Dear Frankie News, Uncategorized

Our Hollywood correspondent Sandro Monetti has seen more than a hundred films this year in the service of Sky Showbiz and here he ranks them all in order.

So, what gets his vote?

Outrageous comedy The 40-Year-Old Virgin comes out on top, ahead of British fatherless boy drama Dear Frankie and clever crime thriller A History of Violence.

Also making his top five are racial tensions story Crash and Steven Spielberg’s new revenge thriller, Munich – which is yet to be released in the UK.

Bottom of the pile is the truly terrible Dukes of Hazzard, starring Jessica Simpson and Burt Reynolds – who Sandro says is “the luckiest actor in Hollywood because he’s sustained a long career making countless films and has been rubbish in all of them.”
