Audiences pick fest’s top films

The High Falls Film Festival has announced its Audience Choice Award Winners. Born into Brothels was the Audience Choice Award Winner for Documentary, while Dear Frankie was the Audience Choice Award Winner for Feature Film, said Randi Minetor, executive director of the festival.

There were 20 films in each category. Those in the audience for each film rated the film, with a rating of 1 being the top ranking. The film that received the highest percentage of top-ranking votes from its viewing audience won the award in each category, said Minetor.

Dear Frankie will be shown at the Little Theatre, 240 East Ave., at 7 p.m. today. Born into Brothels will be shown at the Little today at 9:30 p.m.
