Miramax Films’ slender release schedule for 2004 has gotten slimmer.
“Dear Frankie,” which Miramax confirmed for a fall release less than two weeks ago, is now slated for March 4.
And while the Robert Redford-Jennifer Lopez starrer “An Unfinished Life” is slated for Dec. 24, a Miramax spokesman said its status is undecided.
Miramax’s new “Dear Frankie” date follows Pathe Intl.’s January release of the film in the U.K. Pic stars Emily Mortimer (“Lovely and Amazing”) and Gerard Butler (“Phantom of the Opera”).
The Holocaust documentary “Paper Clips,” skedded for Sept. 8, is now pushed to October to dodge the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashana.
Still on track are the Lopez-Richard Gere remake “Shall We Dance?” (Oct. 15), Johnny Depp starrer “Finding Neverland” (Nov. 12), Martin Scorsese’s “Aviator” (Dec. 17), “Proof,” directed by John Madden (Dec. 24) and Gurindher Chadha’s “Bride and Prejudice” (Dec. 25).
