So what’s this crazy movie about anyway? Courtesy of MTV Movies:
[Jamie] Foxx has signed on to the psychological cop thriller, in which he�ll play a �Death Wish�-like vigilante who considers himself a victim of the legal system�s shortcomings. After one of the men who killed his wife and daughter goes free thanks to a plea bargain, the formerly law-abiding citizen becomes intent on punishing not only the killers, but also those who helped mastermind the deal.
Fast-rising “300” star Gerard Butler will bring his chiseled good looks and Scottish brogue to the role of a man trying to stop Foxx�s one-man wrecking crew. A successful assistant district attorney, Butler�s character finds himself the target of Foxx�s wrath.
UPDATE: Commenter Michele is correct, the roles were switched: Gerard Butler will instead play vigilante, while Jamie Foxx will take on the DA role. But I’m gonna also have to agree with commenter MissDebbieBlue. More Butler please! His looks are both chiseled and good, as per MTV’s description above.

Great to see that filming has started. Just wanted to note that MTV�s information on the movie is not correct. They have the roles reversed.
Gerard Bulter is going to be playing the vigilante who considers himself a victim of the legal system’s shortcomings. And the successful assistant district attorney is being played by Jamie Foxx.
